Since we are unable to physically be  with one another, it is incumbent upon us to come up with other avenues for creative spiritual expression.  Personally, I am a huge fan of the Living Cross every Easter. I love seeing thee flowers placed upon the brutal tree and it becomes a stark reminder of life in spite of death. DIY Passion Cross - Good Friday Activity

In the midst of the trying time of COVID-19, we are having to be creative. Personally, one of my favorite images to really take time and contemplate is the cross - especially during Holy Week. I wanted to ensure that my congregation was able to take the time to contemplate this year and decided that this would be an awesome way to consider the brutal deadness of the cross. Here is the step-by-step process (also found in the video below). How to Make the DIY Passion Cross 1. Find the right spot.  Start your cross by finding the perfect spot for your cross to be located. I personally did mine on a section of my porch that I knew wouldn't have much traffic. Important: It is essential that it remain in that place until Sunday, so make sure it's a safe, low traffic area. 2.
